- Used as a marine stove fuel and as a solvent for shellac, resin and some dyes.
- Use only in appliances designed to burn liquid alcohol. Fondue and chafing dishes must be wick or absorbent material type only.
- Alcohol and vapors are very flammable and burn with a virtually invisable flame. Do not use in kerosene or oil burning devices such as oil lamps, patio torches, or log lighters, an explosion could result.
